IN HONOR OF UPCOMING MOTHER'S DAY, WE ARE OPENING MANY OF OUR WORKSHOPS TO YOUNGER AGES WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. This is a quality bonding experience! You have been asking so here it is! Learn the secrets of making these adorable dessert candles in this super fun and unique three hour experience! You will be working with soy wax, beeswax, fragrances (choose from chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, limoncello, cinnamon cookie, blood orange, lime, or pumpkin chai) block dyes and premade embeds to make one ice cream scoop candle and one cake candle. Learn to transform soy wax from a liquid state to a cream or whipped state. Scoop it, make it into a topping, embellish it with premade embeds (chocolate cars, sprinkles, cereal, fruit, waffles etc) and create your own unique dessert creations. This is a small group class and we will be very busy crafting these candles. There are very small windows of limited time to work with the wax in its varying states so get ready to lock in for this one! It is beginner but it does require focus. BYOB is welcome but you know what I'm saying! IF YOU ARE BRINGING A MINOR, YOU MUST WORK CLOSELY AND SUPERVISE YOUR CHILD AT ALL TIMES AS WE ARE WORKING WITH 200 DEGREE HOT WAX. You must be locked in and completely focused on this candle making craft at all times. That being said, if your child cooks with you in the kitchen or can safely open a bag of microwave popcorn, everything is going to go wonderfully! A total confidence booster! We are using the highest quality, American grown soy wax and beeswax. All fragrances are CA prop 65 compliant, without pthalates, parabens, and not tested on animals. Lead free wicks. Know what you're burning in your home!

Cancellation Policy
FOR PUBLIC WORKSHOPS: For cancellations at least 72 hours before the start of the class, we will issue you a refund to your original form of payment (minus $10). For cancellations less than 72 hours but more than 24 hours before class start, we will issue you a credit to be used at a future Create Studios class. Cancellations less than 24 hours before class start will be treated as no shows and no refund or credit of any kind will be issued. Thank you so much for your understanding! FOR PRIVATE WORKSHOPS: To reserve your date, we require payment in full by all participants, just like if you signed up for a public workshop. There is a $20 cancellation fee per attendee for canceled private events. FOR CAMPS: Camp payments are non-refundable. Please sign up thoughtfully.
Important Info
Advance registration is required for all workshops except Drop-in Crafts. Please note that our studio is closed to the public during workshops and events. With the exception of Drop-in Crafts, no walk-ins are accepted.

If you have more than eight people interested in a public workshop, we can schedule a private event just for your group! If you have a group of less than eight people, we may be able to add another public workshop to the calendar and put your group in first. Please contact us to find out more.

Our studio has been designed with adult comfort in mind. In many of our workshops we use materials not suitable for children, such as sharp wire, glass, fragrance and essential oils, hot wax and glue, heat guns, etc. The age requirements listed for each workshop are there for everyone’s safety. We ask that you please adhere to the guidelines. Thank you so much!
